Two important words can make a difference every day. "Thank You". Being too busy in our personal or professional lives is no excuse to not share a sincere "thank you". Has anyone ever counted the number of times a thank you was said throughout an entire day? Probably not. To many people, it's pure common courtesy. Great managers and leaders will always extend a pleasant thank you. We thank you for taking time out of your busy day to read or share this post. Whenever a goal is met or a team project is successfully completed, there is an opportunity to say "thank you"; from implementation to the victory. Even if the project cancelled in the middle of progress or due to a lack of funding, it is a time to still say, "thank you". We meet some of the most incredibly talented human beings who inspire us. Do leaders really care to know how much they inspire others or a team; or do they decide to just pass along the baton so that others may continue to the finish line? Sure they do! Acknowledging people for a great job performance is more than just words, it's also kind. By the way, if you missed "World Thank You Day" in August 2015, any day and every day is a great moment to just say, "thank you". That's when we like to say it. Sing-a- grams are cool too if you wish to be even more creative in thanking a team, new business partner(s) or relatives. It is never too late. Sending digital thank you notes online requires email. We were so excited today about the UCI World Championship Bike Race in Richmond, VA that we almost forgot about sharing our blog for this week. Yes, Richmond is having a bicycle party and like us, if you appreciate, enjoy and even ride a bicycle, you are also a special guest! The bike races take place until September 27th so you may want to stop through for a visit to experience cowbells, nostalgia and family fun excitement! Check out www.richmond2015.com. Which leads us to our next question. What are you passionate about? It is said that your purpose can be found in the things that you're most passionate about. Still unsure? Make a note of all you have a desire to learn more about and/or master. Too many things to learn about? There is no such thing as too much happy. It is attainable. The ability to multitask a few great projects that you know well is not a curse. In fact, it may be your calling. How well does your passions resonate with what you've learned just to have and keep employment? Times and opportunities change and it also takes time to develop specific gifts and talents; whether it's communication, creative writing, visual art or becoming a leader who encourages others. The bottom line is that you have a passion. And it could be lying dormant because you're uncertain about it or believe no one will support your vision. Don't you believe your idea deserves an opportunity to shine? Well, let it shine! "A vision board is always a great place to start because it's a thought which transitions into a visual and then a visual into words which become articulation. Manifesto! The result, a plan of action." ~ DesignedByAnne, LLC." We encourage to discover ALL the things that you're passionate about and share it to the world! We put together the order of operations of a entrepreneurial vision board. Of course you can customize it to your personal and professional goals to express your personality. Go for it! They are: a. Thoughts b. Visions c. Words d. Articulation e. Manifestation Hope this inspired your intentions today! Happy Autumn! #Faith #Works #Design #IAmTourism www.designedbyanne.weebly.com Image Credit: DesignedByAnne, LLC at The 2015 UCI World Bike Championships Watch Live! http://richmond2015.com/live/ Today was no ordinary day and I'll tell you why.
When you have a vision, goal and dream, things will begin to fall in to place just like the pieces of a puzzle. When you make up your mind that no longer will there be any excuses, it is time to "take action". In a room filled with greatness, there is no more second guessing putting that idea on paper and running with it! Either you do or you won't. One of the most critical and valuable things we could ever do with our lives is to invest in ourselves and encourage others to do the same and the world as we know will become a better place. Take inventory of every gift and talent bestowed upon you. The greatest advantage that we all have as human beings is to build quality relationships and to keep building them. You will know when you're in the right place at the right time because confirmation will be revealed through the people, places and experiences that you see yourself similarly becoming. Rest assured, there will be a sign of things to come. You have to see it before you see it. There is no doubt that we've experienced that moment today. We wish to encourage you to do the same. Keep writing that vision. Keep praying and believing that you're almost there because one day, it's going to happen. Faith is inevitable. Get motivated and birth your dream! ~ Design Photo Credit: DesignedByAnne, LLC. http://www.getmotivated.com/ Since I can remember, I’ve always spent time in reflection about life and the world. What I want to do to serve. I am at a point in which my resume now has a human voice. My objective? To make the world a better place and inspire others to do the same. Acronym today. IDGF
