Today, the White House shared a photo of President Barack Obama with classmates from the 5th grade. One of the things I appreciate about our 44th and 45th President is his transparency with the nation. He shares his heart openly and with discretion despite what anyone decides in their mind. Today, he also acknowledged and thanked educators for their service in public education around the world.
I believe that anyone who dedicates his or her life to educating children, adults with truth are some of the greatest human beings to exist on the planet. Who would disagree? The world is filled with leaders, mentors, public figures, educators, facilitators, motivators and speakers. Growing up as Generation X, the term “Teacher” was used in our vocabulary to describe educators and when asked the question, in elementary, middle and high school by our peers or principles, “Who is your teacher?” One of my favorite teachers, although an educator, was named Dr. Kermit Adams. Laugh if you wish. It is true as he stood very proudly next to a podium in Black History Studies to deliver the message of the Mother Land (Africa) and as if his government name bequeathed to him; was borne also by his forefathers. Yet still, highly regarded and respected by his students. I was one of his students. Discovering our history teaches us our foundation and our future. It changes our inner dialogue. To know how great we as human beings truly are. The world may tell you that you're something different. Your divine soul will guide you appropriately. Take away message. As we too also pay homage to the “Teachers” who have left inspiring imprints on our lives. I thank them all. I think about the difference that they; and that we all can make as we choose to live in peace and as how we will share our knowledge and understanding. Never forgetting that children are also great teachers. As they help us to understand the responsibility and privileges of being a parent. A very special thank you to first teachers. If you’re uncertain of who the first teachers are, you can always call God your Mother or Father. (Psalm 68:5) Thank the creator. For without the creator, how would we exist and who would any of us become? ~Design

Today has been so amazing, beautiful and interesting that posting to our blog was nearly last in line. How many times has that happened? Rarely. In fact, we're excited about our human interest story experiences to share in each blog post. As we listen, observe and participate in the world in and around us, we appreciate the opportunities to share those experiences here. We also enjoy the take away moments after reading a great story or researching a topic that is nurturing the soul and leading to great and new possibilities. This year, we were invited to speak at an Administrative Professionals Luncheon. The speech topic was "Now is the time. This is Your time." We were very delighted to attract this opportunity because it further confirms for us that our thoughts and ideas are manifesting positively and have corresponded with the Universe and returned to us in the form of acknowledgment and opportunity Allowing us to know that everything is good, authentic, and can be shared to hearts and minds that are just as hungry as we are. We closed our presentation with remembering, that: "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure" ~ Confucius We're very grateful and it's spilling over. We hope that your human experiences this week are truly miraculous and confirms for you the next adventure and assignment that leads you into your destiny. ~ Design Many people have already or will spend half their life trying to figure out just where they fit into society. Whether it be in a career, a business, a family even on a sports team; only to rediscover and realize that every step is divinely ordered and timed. It's time to step up and stand out. You may have already surmised after reading the first sentence and the question in the post, where it was going. It briefly describes and uses key words. It's an exciting time in the world for people who are ready to transform and magnify their purpose. Procrastination is just a fear response of moving towards greatness. Now is the time. Are you ready? Ask yourself this question in the mirror daily until your core is satisfied with an authentic response. The time is now. It's your time. #Design A call to action. No human being is ever exempt to experience iniquity or despair or know of someone that has in this life and in the world; no matter how big or small the issue. Seek your truth. To discover your purpose is faith, hope and love (Corinthians 13:13). Decide today that how you will speak, think and understand will be so authentic that the Universe has no other choice to accept it and respond. All that is happening in and around the world is the result of what humanity "thinks, speaks, and understands. Use your gifts. You are more powerful than you know. There will be those who fear the day that you discover it.
